Runner/Dispense
An organized and accurately deployed dispense team is the backbone of effective bottle service operations.
Orders / Requests Recieved
Runners should be dedicated to orders and staff requests which appear on Orders screen (or Bump Screen) in dispense. Ideally this screen is visible at all times on a tablet device and orders are engaged with in a first-in-first-out manner. Order cards display the contents of orders and the status of payments. Runners can also recieve requests from waiters and managers.
Payment Taken (Optional)
If payment permissions are granted, runners can assign payment receipts to orders. Fully paid orders are indicated by a solid green badge with a price and payment method.
Orders Ready
As runners attend to an order, they should move that order to the approppriate status: “in preparation”, “ready”, and “delivered”.
The waiters who placed the orders will be notified of the status change of their orders via live activity notifications and can communicate with the runner if needed.
DQ records the time an order spends in each state to determine average order turnaround during service.

Orders Delivered
In an efficient venue, we aim for a turnaround of 3 minutes or less on average. We display wait times to runners on the Orders screen with a coloured line which moves along the base of an order over 12 minutes.
