Runner/Dispense
An organized and accurately deployed dispense team is the backbone of effective bottle service operations.
Orders / Requests Received
Runners should be dedicated to handling orders and staff requests that appear on the Orders screen (also known as the Bump Screen) in the dispense area. Ideally, this screen should remain visible at all times on a tablet device, with orders processed in a first-in, first-out manner.
Order cards display the contents of each order along with its payment status.
Runners may also receive requests from waiters and managers during service.
Payment Taken (Optional)
If granted payment permissions, runners can assign payment receipts to orders.
A fully paid order is indicated by a solid green badge showing the amount and payment method.
Orders Ready
As runners handle an order, they should update its status appropriately:
“In Preparation” → “Ready” → “Delivered”
Waiters who placed the orders will receive live activity notifications as the order status changes and can communicate with the runner if needed.
DQ automatically records the time spent in each order status to help calculate average turnaround times during service.

Orders Delivered
In an efficient venue, the target is an average order turnaround of 3 minutes or less.
Wait times are visually displayed to runners via a colored progress line at the bottom of each order card, which completes its journey over 12 minutes.
